REHABILITATION
Everyone who wants to recover from an orthopaedic injury can call on Move to Cure. Your personal therapist will use the following principles of functional rehabilitation. In close consultation with your treating physician he will start up an intensive routine with you.
INJURY PREVENTION
An integral approach covers your past, present and future. We want to know about any previous injuries, the current problem and most of all: we want to avoid a relapse. With a balanced training programme we are preventively going to strengthen your weak spots.
PERSONAL COACHING
Your personal therapist challenges you, supports you when needed and helps you to push your limits. He or she records your progress, makes adjustments to the routine and consults with the other specialists in the team. This intensive follow-up requires a commitment from both sides. And that will be a huge motivation.
FOOD COACHING
Which food gives you the right energy and accelerates the recovery of your muscles after a training? Carbohydrates, proteins, fats, sugars, vitamins and minerals: all these elements require adequate dosage and timing. It does not only improve your eating habits, but your entire life style.
PODIATRY
Moving is all about how you position your feet. Therefore it is only logical to have a podiatrist on the Move to Cure team. By means of high-tech equipment expert Jo De Wijze makes a 3D scan of your feet. And, if necessary, he will produce high-tech corrective soles in his own lab.
PERSONAL SCREENING
Every sport is different. Every person is different. Move to Cure offers the possibility to make a personal analysis that will result in an individual training schedule, with customized exercises that can be integrated into your prevention programme or warming up. This analysis works via top-notch technological software that is completed by functional tests, tailored to your sport or discipline. Weak spots are highlighted and specific injuries are discussed. Monitoring is guaranteed, meaning that an evaluation (or re-evaluation) is always possible.
